Canon Link: Glen had already cut himself off from most of the world prior to the outbreak of Captain Trips. A widower for going on ten years now, with no children, and a personality that alienated him from most of his peers, he didn’t have anything to truly lose when the virus killed over 99% of the world’s population. His wife had seen to it that his home was furnished with a generator prior to her passing, and he was able to pick up a good stock of food, along with medicinal and painting supplies, with little difficulty. Life had continued on just the same for him, aside from now taking ward over the sole remaining dog of his hometown.

Once he was presented with the offer to join Stu Redman and his quest to find the lady that had been visiting both of them in their dreams, he signed up in the hopes of finding just how far the rabbit hole went. Shared dreams, seeing the future, higher powers beyond their knowledge… As a man of science, this was all new to him. To say he was curious for answers was a vast understatement.

Their journey led them across the US to Boulder, Colorado, where he found himself among the five representatives appointed by Mother Abagail to get their new society up and running. Who gave her the orders for these appointments, he wasn’t positive he could answer that, and he firmly believes you shouldn’t infer more than you know. But he’s willing to go along for the ride, even when it takes him to New Vegas where the man from their nightmares resides. To a place where he dreamed of his demise. To hopefully bring a resolution to the threat to their new world.

Personality: As an ex-Professor of Sociology at a Community College, Glen prides himself on observing much around him and having a keen insight on human nature. And he’s not afraid to let you know this insight, front to back, from all angles. In fact, you’re going to be hard pressed to get him to NOT express his opinions on most matters. In great length. Emphatically. Glen’s a talker. And a smoker. You’ll rarely find him without his vape. His joints hurt, give him a break. (But really…he’s been living at the end of the world, can you truly blame him?)

Powers/Abilities: For the most part, Glen is just your average guy. He can on occasion paint the future that he sees in his dreams. Prophetic pot dreams as some would say. Other than that, his main tool in his arsenal is an above average, but thoroughly human, ability to apply deductive reasoning and logical observation. With that, he has a very good sense of just how to poke at the right nerves (or the worse possible ones depending on how you look at it).
